In a category where most legal brands look professional but barely differ from one another, Grain already had its own approach to the work. Our task was not to invent a difference but to make visible the one that already existed: from positioning and visual identity to the website.

An analysis of the category showed a common pattern: legal brands mostly speak the language of strength, control or protection. Grain works differently. Its role is not only to defend the client's interests but to help find solutions within the law, even in difficult situations.
This is intellectual flexibility: seeing possibilities where others see limits, not by getting around the law but by using its tools precisely.
About the business
Grain Law Firm stands out for the role it takes on with clients: not only legal defense but finding a solution within the legal field when the situation is complex and there is no clear path. The formal tone typical of the category creates distance between a firm and its client. Grain's approach is the opposite by design.

Requirements for the visual identity
The logo is based on a navigation symbol, a metaphor for finding the right direction. In legal matters, a client needs not only expertise but an understanding of where to go next, and that is the role Grain plays. A distinctive cut in the typography strengthens the sense of moving forward and stands for the shift from uncertainty to a clear strategy.
The color palette, typography and original grainy illustrations follow one visual logic, where the texture of the illustrations directly echoes the brand's name. The system scales without losing coherence, from print to digital services, and stays recognizable whatever the medium and whoever produces it.
The site's information architecture is built around the questions clients actually bring to a law firm, not around the structure of the firm's own practices. Instead of complex professional language, the site offers a clear structure, direct communication and quick access to the information people need.
